BE-JO
Cookie policy
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies our webshop uses and how we handle non-essential technologies.
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that may be stored on your device through a website. A webshop may also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (localStorage).
BE-JO uses these technologies to keep the webshop working securely and to remember choices such as your cart or price display preference.
2. Necessary cookies and storage
Technologies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the webshop may be used without prior consent.
- bejo_session: secure session cookie for logged-in webshop users;
- cart: browser storage for shopping-cart contents;
- bejo_quote: browser storage for the quotation list;
- bejo_favorites: browser storage for favourites;
- bejo_shipping_region: browser storage for the selected shipping region;
- bejo_price_display: browser storage for the VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive price preference.
3. Analytics
The current Next.js webshop does not include general visitor analytics such as Google Analytics. If analytics are added later, we will first assess whether consent is required.
Where consent is required, analytics will only be activated after you make that choice in the cookie settings.
4. Marketing and tracking
The webshop currently does not use Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing or similar marketing tracking in the frontend.
If such technologies are introduced later, they will be blocked by default and will only load after explicit consent.
5. External content such as Google Maps
Our contact page may display content from an external provider such as Google Maps. Loading external content may share technical information about your browser and connection with that provider, and cookies or similar technologies may be used.
External content such as Google Maps is blocked in our webshop until you consent to Marketing & external media. You can change this choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
6. Changing your choice
You can reopen and change your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent use of functions that are necessary for the webshop. Optional elements such as external media or future marketing features may be unavailable.
7. Third-party cookies
If you leave our webshop for an external service, for example a payment provider, carrier or other website, that party may use its own cookies and similar technologies. Its own privacy and cookie policies apply.
8. Changes to this cookie policy
The webshop and the services we use may change. We therefore update this page when cookies, storage technologies or external services are added or removed.
