Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data Be-Jo V.O.F. processes through the webshop, why we process it and what rights you have.

1. Controller

Be-Jo V.O.F., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 04046275, is responsible for the processing of personal data through this webshop and in connection with customer relationships and orders. Privacy questions can be sent to verkoop@be-jo.com or +31 (0)594 500425.

2. Personal data

  • name, role and contact details;
  • billing and delivery addresses;
  • company, customer, Chamber of Commerce and VAT details where relevant;
  • account details, organisation link and webshop role;
  • PowerAll relation and contact identifiers;
  • orders, order lines, quotations and favourites;
  • payment and transaction information where necessary;
  • customer-specific pricing and commercial arrangements;
  • technical data required for sessions, security and webshop operation;
  • information you provide when contacting us.

3. Purposes

  • account review and management;
  • linking users to the correct business organisation and PowerAll relation;
  • applying customer-specific prices and permissions;
  • orders, payments, delivery, returns and quotations;
  • customer service;
  • financial and tax administration;
  • security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting;
  • compliance with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the processing, we rely on performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests, or consent where consent is legally required.

5. Business accounts and pricing

Multiple webshop users may be linked to the same business customer relation. Roles can include Organisation administrator, Buyer and Read-only. The linked PowerAll relation may be used to calculate organisation-specific prices and commercial arrangements.

6. Recipients

  • WordPress and WooCommerce;
  • PowerAll;
  • MultiSafepay where used for payments;
  • Vercel;
  • carriers and logistics providers;
  • necessary IT, hosting, security, administration and advisory providers.

7. Retention

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary unless a statutory retention period applies. Data forming part of the Dutch financial and tax administration is generally retained for 7 years.

8. Cookies and local storage

Technical cookies, session data or browser storage may be used for functions such as login, language, cart, favourites and security. Consent will be requested before non-essential cookies are used where required.

9. International transfers

Where a provider processes personal data outside the EEA, we use an appropriate transfer basis and safeguards where required by the GDPR.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No digital system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on your situation, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent. Contact verkoop@be-jo.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

12. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when our webshop, systems or processing activities change. The current version is published on this page.
